Ah, I’m so tired. Half the time I sleep fine, and half of the time I don’t. For the past few days I had been waking up every couple hours then last night I didn’t get to bed until 3. Why? Because my mother was out until late again, without calling again. At 11 I figured she wasn’t coming home any time soon, so I tried to go to sleep but couldn’t. I didn’t know if she was dead, going to be screaming outside for me to open the door, or if she just wouldn’t come home and call sometime the next day. At past one she called and said that she would be taking a cab home, and that she’d ring once before she got there so I could unlock the door for her. At 1:30 AM I heard her trying to get the door open. All I wanted to do was go to bed, but she wanted to bother the cat and make garlic bread. I was afraid she would hurt Allie because drunk people have no idea what they’re actually doing, and there was no way I was going to let her burn the place down because she was trying to use the oven while drunk. She still asked me several times more if I wanted garlic bread. I hate babysitting drunk people. At two I finally got her to go to bed, and eventually I fell asleep myself. I woke up a couple times, and was up for a half hour to an hour more, fell back asleep then woke up when my mom left for work at 10.

She has off a couple days next week, and then some vacation time the week after, so hopefully we’ll get out to Red Lobster and South Hills Village during that time. I miss my Crab Linguini Alfredo, and I need to get a Visa gift card at the mall so I can pay off my hosting and some of my domains. We went out twice in the past month, once to The Cheesecake Factory, and to Eat’n Park on Saint Patrick’s Day. It was a good day at Cheesecake Factory, though they skimped on the mashed potatoes. We got there right before they opened (because the longer they’re opened the worse the food gets) and there were people standing outside as always. But people are so stupid. Did the crowd of people gathered around stop others from coming up and trying to open the door? No. What were they thinking, that we were standing outside in 30 degree weather for the fun of it? And they just kept coming. Once even one person tried to open the door and failed, and then directly behind them someone else tried. They had to have seen the other person try 10 seconds before them. It’s not the sword in the stone. Did they think “well, maybe it’ll open for me?” It wasn’t a good day at Eat n Park though. It was packed since everyone was out driving around because they had nothing else better to do. Then the sticky buns were not sticky, they were cold and dry, and the gravy in my mashed potatoes had a smashed up piece of tomato in it. How does that even happen? We waited forever to get the bill too, because the waitress was chatting with some guy in another booth for a while. After that we walked up to Brookline because my mom wanted to get a cake from Kribel’s Bakery, which used to be very good. The woman behind the counter was a nasty piece of work. You could tell she didn’t want to be there, and was just rude. We tried to get the last two glazed donuts, but when we got home we found out she gave us the wrong kind, and unfortunately the cake was bad too. It was a chocolate and white butter cream cake, but the chocolate icing didn’t taste chocolate at all just bland, and the icing wasn’t as sweet either. That place has really gone down hill, according to my mother anyway. She should know since she’s been getting her cakes from there since before I was born. I’ve been unhappy with them since last year when they messed up my birthday cake, and my moms cake a few months before that which had these little plastic looking shavings all over it, which was some kind of unasked for decoration, but it was disgusting, and it made me sick.
