Subeta went down for maintenance at 1 AM on Feb 3, and just came back up at around 11 PM. There’s a notice on the site that there may be some disruptions for the next day as they get everything situated, so if you can’t get on (or couldn’t) that’s probably why.

Okay, first things first, let’s get something straight. I am the queen of run on sentences and comma splices and no one is taking that away from me so just stop. And congrats on being a member of one of my worst rated sites! There are only three of them, so the odds were against you!

You are not Ian so you really have no right to feel insulted. I said nothing bad about you, your website, your family, your friends, your pets, your first grade teacher… what do you have to feel insulted about?

I can guarantee you most of those of those “many websites” have rules against click begging. There are other ways to get clicks than posting “feedz my petsus pleasssseeeee” over and over again. And yes, Egg Cave at the beginning was comprised of two things: egg begging and click begging, and there wasn’t a blocking feature then. It is not nice to be repeatedly asked for an egg even after you’ve told the person no, and I’m not the only person that happened to. The worst offender kept commenting on many peoples profiles asking for the same thing.

I am aware that pets at a certain level are immortal now.

Nope, that’s the point. Yeah… You respect that it is my opinion but you want me to either take the review down or change it. That’s not called respect, and I am not taking it down. If you think that review is harsh I shudder to think how you all would react to something that truly is. The bottom line is you are all overreacting to this. Someone doesn’t like a site you do, big deal. It shouldn’t be that upsetting to you. Are you going to remember this when you’re 50? If not then it’s probably not something worth getting this upset over. And no, unless you’re 48 or something you are not going to remember some bad review some stranger on the internet wrote about your favorite site at the time. I know Egg Cave is a site geared more towards children, but really. Talking about trolling someone and slapping them? Oh, but it’s just a joke! lol violence is a joke! (the appropriate laugh to go with that is MUAHAHAHAHA). And I’m the harsh one? Right.

Most of the review is written in past tense and the review ends with “So, unless the rules have changed since then”. It was also posted on September 17th, 2010, so obviously it is an old review. Anyone who is capable of reading can tell that. It doesn’t pretend to be anything other than my opinion at the time I was a member, and if you and some other Egg Cave members don’t like that you’ll just have to learn to deal with it. Everything I wrote was the truth of my experience there and I am not taking it down just because some people can’t take a little criticism of a site that isn’t even theirs. Even if that makes me a big meanie poopie pants who will get trolled.

I joined Egg Cave a few months after it opened, and I am a member now. I have no obligation to tell you my opinion of it (but I can say it’s definitely not improving), and I have no plans of editing that post at all, not even for the typos *sob* because I believe if you’re going to say something you should own it. I will do a new, updated adoptables review sometime, and if Egg Cave is included in it I’ll be sure to add all the screencaps I took of that thread. It is a remarkable testament to the maturity of the users there, as well as you, [removed]. I also have screencaps of the last thread which is even more fun and includes things like DIE DIE DIE, eye gouging, and can we sue her (no, Ian can’t sue me for libel).
