    Domains Available
I have several domains up for renewal that I don't really want anymore, so I'm giving them away for free (though you'd have to pay for the renewal yourself). I may or may not renew those that aren't taken (if any of them are). New .org domains are back to being $14.99/yr. That's ridiculous! Net isn't much better at $12.99, of course .com is on "sale" at $9.99 which is how much they used to cost. I love GoDaddy, but if this keeps up I'm not going to be able to buy my domains there anymore, since I mostly only get org extensions now.

    solomon-unwise.org (1/25)

    Cut Corners with Coupons
I’ve set it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE Coupons and coupon sites. When you’re buying stuff online it’s just stupid not to check to see if you can get any discounts. One of my favorite sites to buy things online is Amazon.com. It’s such an easy site to find so many different things on, so I always look for Amazon Coupons.

The site I buy most from all throughout the year is GoDaddy. GoDaddy.com Coupons are so important because I have over 50 domains and without coupons it would cost $500/yr to keep them all! If you’re looking for more information on coupons and purchasing things online there are many great articles at About.com you can check out.

    Feministing Hating on Pink Again
Feministing has another post up about how evil pink is.
Shiny Shiny brings us the latest in feminized gear: a pink heart-shaped guitar for Guitar Hero. Okay, I get that some folks like the color, but can I just say I'm so incredibly sick of products being marketed towards women simply by slapping some pink on them?

I mean, there's pink laptops, tools, websites, iPods, pocket knives - even cigarettes! The pink madness has to end. In fact, I think one of my new year's resolutions will be to avoid all things pink (with the exception of cotton candy Jelly Bellys - I love those things).
Some folks like me. I hate that you're not supposed to like the color pink or anything else girly because you're a feminist. I like the color pink, just as I happen to like many other colors like black, white, grey, cherry red, etc. And I'd love to have a pink girly, girly, girly laptop. That's why I have a love like/hate relationship with that site. It's good for stuff like news, and some products like those happy, flower kitchen sets for little girls, but when they start telling you what you feel about certain things, and assume because they feel a certain way about something everyone else does too it really pisses me off, and it makes me not want to go on that site anymore. Especially when they start on the pink tirade. So I'm here to say I'm a feminist and...

    I LIKE PINK

    In the News
This is the start of my last weekend off, and the last week of December (though not a full week). Here's some news from the past few days that I've found interesting: a Chinese teen is going to Obama's inauguration, many aquatic animals are threatened by Tennessee coal disaster, people in New York shred memories for the new year, and a woman in Florida was fired because she insisted on saying Merry Christmas.

I think it's very sad that these animals that were already near extinction have been endangered anymore. I love all animals (you know, except for scorpions and stuff because they're scary) and it's a tragedy that so many are disappearing due to humans. The people in New York have a great idea about shredding bad memories. I think everyone should right down something(s) that bothered them this year and then just tear it up and let it go for the new year. As for that obnoxious woman in Florida, I think she got what she deserved. It's disgusting how rude and intolerant people are, all people in general, and many people in religions especially Christianity. They feel that being Christian means they can brandish their "faith" around and act in ways that otherwise would be unacceptable.
"I hold my core Christian values to a high standard and I absolutely refuse to give in on the basis of values. All I wanted was to be able to say 'Merry Christmas' or to acknowledge no holidays," she said Tuesday. "As a Christian, I don't recognize any other holidays."
So she doesn't recognize the holiday Chanukah? She doesn't recognize that as a valid holiday because it's not Christian, even though her religion says the Jews are supposed to be God's chosen people? It reminds me of a song I heard on a Christian radio station here while browsing the radio. It was a song by some band called Go Fish and was about how Christmas is the only valid winter holiday, and it's called Christmas (that's Christmas with a C for Christ, bitches). It was so sickening. So many Christian's are like that, that's why even though I believe in God I never refer to myself as a Christian, I'm not one of those horrible people.

    The Eco-Friendy Way
It’s really disturbing where life on this planet is heading. It seems that every day there’s a new show on TV or a new item on the news detailing another horrible disaster that’s going to befall the planet in the near to distant future because we and our machines have taken a toll on the planet. That’s why the eco-friendly Hybrid car is so popular now. JuicedHybrid.com is a great site and has many Prius and Hybrid accessories.

In addition to products that improve the cars efficiency and performance, they have natural cleaning supplies and other green car care products, as well as ground systems to enhance battery performance.

    The Gift That Really Gives
Besides money itself, gift cards are one of the best presents you can give, provided that you give the person a gift card to a store they'd like. The way the person can get what they want, and there's no risk of getting them something they can't use or wouldn't like. There's no having to return gifts, and no rude acts of regifting. An added benefit is that gift cards are also useful for after Christmas sales due to markdowns.

GiftCardMall.com allows you to chose the store brand that you want, the design, and the amount. Then the gift card is sent off and the user can buy whatever it is they want the most. Gift cards a great and popular present all year round, especially at Christmas. I got one and so did many other people, and those that didn't wish they did.

    LBE Version 8 Coming Soon
It's not really going to be version 8 of LBE, but version 8 of this site. The revamp is going to be in a few more days. I've been working on it for the past 4 hours (I forgot how tedious it was!), and it's basically ready to go, but there's some outside forces that are preventing me from releasing it tonight like I planned to. There's only three skins completely made right now since I lost the 20 some others when everything was lost. Firefox users will be happy to know that it will display best in that browser since that's what I'm mainly using now. I'm really happy with the way everything looks but I can't put it all up yet. It's better this way I guess, because I can get all the bugs out before I upload everything here. And I still have to decide which smiley set to use, I've downloaded around 200.

    Get Your Debt Consolidation Now
Like many people in this country my mother is in debt. We’d have barely enough money to cover the bills, so we’d have to buy groceries with one of her many credit cards, so her credit card debt built up. Fortunately if you are in debt you have options, and there are things you can do RIGHT NOW to help dig yourself out of the hole.

You can get a debt consolidation on the internet from a company like Fast Debt Freedom Now. With their services you can reduce your balance and have one low payment a month. You can even possibly be debt free in a little over two years.

    Ho Ho Horrible
I got the title for this post from a Fairly Oddparents episode. Well, Christmas is almost over. I sent some e-cards out, I don't know if two will get to who they're supposed to because the emails I have for them are old and they could have changed them. I got a subscription to JibJab because the cards were so amazing I had to get them, so you can see one of my favorite embedded below, here's a link to it. I got $65 (20 from Pap Pap, 45 from Cynthia). I didn't get anything from Cyndy and I don't know if I will. She never remembers to send out cards, but she just might not be doing it at all this year. I spent Christmas by myself, my mom left for Matt's last night, and she brought dinner for me at around 7:30. I was watching A Christmas Story when she came. After I was done eating and the movie was over I opened the few gifts I got. My mom gave me a hot dog maker, a chocolate milk mixer, a dinner tray (because I eat in bed), a pair of socks, a pair of slippers, 3 notebooks (two that I mentioned before, and a happy bunny one), and 3 winter editions of the Cadbury chocolate eggs. I think that's it, Cynthia also gave me some pajamas with penguins on them. I'm off to watch anime. Like I said before I found a site with a ton of anime on it, but I'm not going to give the link out because I don't want it to get taken down. I finished Samurai Champloo yesterday. I don't know what I'll watch right now. Maybe some FMA on that site, or some Naruto on Joost.

    Leap Into the Future
I’ve seen them on computers, television, and in the movies but I’ve never seen a keyless lock in real life, but apparently they do exist. You know the kind where it scans your finger print? There might be some upsides to the keyless lock, like there are no keys to lose so you won’t get locked out, but I would never use one myself. What if you burned yourself and lost part or all of your fingerprint? It’s been proven on Mythbusters that if someone really wants to beat a fingerprint scanner, it’s possible, and at least one brand of keyless lock that claimed to be unbeatable are easier to bypass than the ones found on computers. That’s really scary. There are countless videos on MySpace, but here’s a full version.
