Comcast’s bill was mailed in late so the internet is disconnected right now. I’m using the neighbors horribly slow wireless. It takes several minutes for pages to load, if it loads at all, so I’m not using it too much. Maybe my internet will be back on by tomorrow. An icon will be added when I can.

Two basically good days. My mood has been yo-yoing between hopeful and despondent for the past few weeks, but yesterday I was in a very good mood. Cyndy took me out and I got to go to Red Lobster. I get to go there once a year or less so it was a very nice treat for me. I got my usual, crab linguini alfredo. Didn’t get the chocolate wave cake, after everything Cyndy does for me I couldn’t ask for something else. And no more chocolate for me now since I’ve given it up for Lent. After we got out of Red Lobster Cyndy took me to Best Buy, she was talking about getting me a printer for me and a new computer for herself, though not right now. Her computer of 10 years finally kicked the bucket, so she’s thinking about getting either a laptop or a tablet. Since she had time I got to look around. The Best Buy wasn’t great, the one near South Hills Village is bigger and has more things, but it was still a lot of fun. I love technology, it was great getting to look at everything. If you don’t love technology you can’t imagine how wonderful it is to be let loose in a store like that. The biggest TV I found there (though not the biggest I know of) was 70 inches. It was incredible.

Cynthia went to church yesterday, and I asked if I could go today with her for Ash Wednesday. :angel: First Presby doesn’t normally do ashes, but they did this time. I didn’t do it because I didn’t want to get up in front of everyone, but Cynthia did. Since it was a weekday service it was shorter than it usually is. I wasn’t very good. I was quiet, but I kept getting distracted. I didn’t sing, not that there was a whole lot of singing, more of a mumbling. I also didn’t close my eyes and put my head forward to pray, but anyone who saw me wasn’t either so they have no right to say anything.

We went to Eat n Park after. I broke some sort of rule and had chicken, Cynthia had fish. When we got home of course Cynthia had to tell everyone that I went, and even my mother was acting shocked like “didn’t the church cave in?” I am a Christian, I was raised Christian, this isn’t anything new (though the whole going to church thing is). Just because I don’t shout it from the rooftops or try to force other people to believe what I do doesn’t mean I’m not. And I love that church. It is so beautiful. I don’t care how wonderful other churches are, to me the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh is the most beautiful church in the world. It is so gothic, awe inspiring, and has huge Tiffany’s stained glass windows. I just love it. However I do not love the views of the people who have control of it right now. They’re evangelical, and however much Cynthia disagrees with that term they are self-described “bible-centered evangelical.” Their website is a whole lot of conservative. They support a bunch of evangie missions, crisis pregnancy centers, and the fake jews. What was most infuriating for me is they support evangelical missions in Africa. They are responsible for the witch hunts in Africa, and people like Helen Ukpabio. And they are so blind and ignorant to it, or they just don’t care. Maybe these crazies even support it. First Presby also had some people at the 40 Days for Life crap, but in the picture it only showed like 5 people. The church isn’t that popular so they feel they have to change. Their solution? Become more crazy. Because their conservative church isn’t getting people in the pews, they think their problem is they aren’t conservative enough. o.O That’s the way the conies think. One woman who came in today said she was going to drag people in off the streets, and laughed. Yeah… That’s the spirit lady. I know she was joking, but that’s the kind of point of view they have, and I’ve already stated I’m against that sort of thing. The sermon today wasn’t even slightly political, so that was good. If they got into actual politics, like the repug candidates, they better not do it while I’m there, because I won’t hesitate to report them. Cynthia was telling me about some candle thing the church does on Maundy Thursday where each person gets a candle, they’re lit, and all the lights are out. I asked if she goes if I can go too and she said yes. So if you hear about a church in Pittsburgh burning down on Maundy Thursday I probably dropped my candle. I’ll be holding onto it for dear life. That’s if I go, and after reading the Wikipedia page about it I might not want to! Apparently some churches have people read scripture, and then they snuff out their candle when they finish, and I’m not reading anything out loud! FPCP didn’t do that in the past, Cynthia would have said so, but since they’re changing other things…

Since I’ve been out of internet I’ve finally started the rest of the winter anime season I’ve been meaning to. I don’t like The Knight in the Area very much, even though FukuJun is sorta in it. I’m actually enjoying Ano Natsu de Matteru, despite it not being my kind of thing. I’ve already been watching Senki Zesshou Symphogear, Another, and Inu X Boku SS. Symphogear is stupid of course, but if you accept it as stupid and treat it as a ridiculous comedy it can be somewhat enjoyable. I love horror and there needs to be more horror anime so of course I like Another well enough. It’s not wonderful, but good enough. Inu X Boku I don’t like at all, it’s so annoying. I still have to start Brave 10, that pirates one, that daily/boys/life one, and some others. I was trying to copy their titles but that made explorer crash so I’m not going to do that again. It’s all because of this stupid 10 bit shit they’re all doing now. I can’t play it in VLC or KMP, and it makes explorer crash. I think it’s because I have DivX installed, but I can’t uninstall it because I need it for a video site I use. Or maybe it’s just because 10 bit is useless, elitist crap we don’t need!

As for the title, most people know one of those. If you don’t, you probably are one! I’m definitely going to watch GCB when it starts.

One Eleven Eleven

I decided to post today, since 1/11/11 is a special occasion, and so is my blogging. :angel: First up are two incidents that I forgot to write about last time. The first happened a few days before Christmas. I was just going to bed and I heard some male voices outside, and then a loud crash a minute or so later. I thought one of the idiots had thrown a rock at the metal awning over the door, because that’s happened before. Then Tiger (my/aunts cat) went crazy and started running around the house, up and back down the stairs again. I went down and Cynthia said someone had thrown a rock at Tiger when he was in the window. The window was fine, but Tiger wasn’t. I went looking for him and found him hiding under the sink. When Cynthia came over he hissed at her and then leapt out and went running again. I found him again upstairs hiding under a rocking chair, and then later on hiding behind an end table. We were very worried about him, since he’s an older cat, and overweight. Even hours later the next day he would barely eat and wouldn’t leave the room without me. He did get over it, and is fine now. We don’t know who did it, because they left right after, but I would say based on their voices there were about 3 of them in their late teens or early twenties.

The second thing that happened was on Christmas Eve. Cynthia had gone to church, and after she left I went to bed. When I saw her the next day I found out that when she came home she stopped at the house of the woman across the street, and ended up slipping and falling on porches stairs. Luckily she didn’t break anything. She’s in her 80′s and has osteoporosis so it’s a miracle she’s alright.

code geass gaiden Bokoku no Akito The Code Geass LJ posted a scan of the new Code Geass Gaiden – Boukoku no Akito. The comments exploded but I haven’t been able to bring myself to go back there. I am still not happy about this. Somewhere my psychic message for more Code Geass got messed up. Maybe it’s because I wished it in English, and they didn’t understand me. I desperately want more Code Geass, but this and Renya is not what I wanted. Someone there said there might be characters from the real Code Geass in it, like Schneizel, which caused a pang in my poor heart. I’d be so happy if just Schneizel was in it, and not like Nicholas D. Wolfwood was in Trigun: Badlands Rumble, he did not get enough air time… No, I’d still be happy if it was just that!

It’s a new anime season, and I’m “watching” mostly everything. And by watching I mean, watching the first episodes then getting around to the rest when I feel like it. I’m only just finishing some anime from several seasons back now. Here are my shows. (more…)

Warning: Dangerously Long Post Ahead

Okay, okay, I said I’d do this so here it is. Lately I’ve mostly been on VDex Project, Magistream, and watching anime. I also, over the course of 6 hours, got caught up with the Bleach manga, and ugh. I’ll talk about that later. I’m with Bel right now trying to get the heart scale I need for the Recommendation Letter quest on VDex. I have him up to about 188/255 affection, and have been with him around 14 and he has yet to send me anything let alone a heart scale. I’m also stalking the Gacha corner for the remaining starters I need, as well as trying to get Thief TM from it, which also gives out heart scales. So far nothing. I am one Poke away from completing the starter set I need for the quest then all I’ll need is the heart scale. Then I plan on switching to Yun and maxing him out immediately for Mewtwo, then moving on Allen for Shaymin. It’ll take longer to max him out, but after I do I’ll finally be able to switch to Lyrit, which is the partner I want. Lyrit’s so hot. And a crazy stalker. Edward you have nothing on this bishie! I joined Magistream a few weeks ago, and I really like it. I’m going to be doing an article on all the best adoptables sites soon, so I’ll cover that then. But for now you can see my Magistream creatures to the right in the sidebar. If you want you can give them a click to help them grow.

And yes, anime. Mitsudomoe is ending very soon! Luckily there will be a second season. I love Mitsudomoe! I didn’t expect to because the humor is pretty juvenile, and I don’t really like that sort of thing, but this show is freaking hilarious. Stupid, but hilarious. HOTD, also not my thing (say it Megan: highschool… highschool… high school) I’m not a big fanservice fan (unless it’s fanservice for the girls~), but it’s too much fun. That’s the reason I don’t usually like zombie stories, along with other apocalyptic tales. They’re so depressing. And not in a good way. HOTD (where I am anyway – 7/12) focuses more on the zombie ass kicking aspects of it. You’re too hyped up on adrenaline to care about things like mass hysteria and the world you once knew collapsing around you. You’re watching people beat the crap out of zombies! This makes it seem like a zombie apocalypse would be fun! Kuroshitsuji II ended up being surprisingly awesome. But there I was at episode 10, loving where the series was going, and then my little anime world was shattered. I found out it is only 12 episodes. Just when I was thinking “oh, A-1 Pictures, I’m so sorry for doubting you” it turned into “A-1 Pictures you freaking creeps how can you treat me like this?!!!” MAL hasn’t listed the episode count for the time it’s been playing, so I didn’t know what to expect. I expected more than 12 episodes though! I feel cheated. They made us wait a while as they kept pushing back the date, then screwed with us about the new demon butler and master, and they finally managed to do a good story (the last Kuroshitsuji anime, which also deviated from the manga, was pure crap) and they only do 12 episodes. Though episode 11 and ultimately the final one could be bad, but TastyMelon hasn’t released 11 yet. Shiki also turned out to be surprisingly awesome. I didn’t love the first episode (I rarely do) and the animation put me off a little, but it’s turning out so good. Sick of sparkly, “romantic” vampires and vampire knights? This is the anime for you. This is how you do vampires. And damn that Murasako Masao is one strange looking troll. When I watch the next episode I will torment myself again and watch it at night – just for the kicks. I didn’t learn my lesson with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, or even the last time I watched Shiki. I just started watching it sometime after midnight and the thought occurred to me a couple hours later “maybe I shouldn’t be watching this at night?” and then “I really shouldn’t be watching this at night!” Did I stop? Of course not! As for the other airing shows that I am watching, it’s mostly just to torment myself. Seitokai Yakuindomo, I hate, Amagami SS, I hate slightly less, Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin just gets an “eh” from me, The Redundant Title of Redundancy and Nurarihyon no Mago… I’m dealing with it. And as for Ookami-san, I still haven’t gotten past the first episode. Unfortunately for me all the anime that I’m enjoying is either ending or possibly going on hiatus (we don’t know yet how the Shiki hiatus on one channel will affect our watching). And with the new season seeming pretty blah this is not good news for me.

I do at least have one currently airing television show here to look forward to and that is Destination Truth, with the hot geek Josh Gates. The new season started yesterday. I don’t have cable right now, but Syfy and Hulu both have the previous episodes available on their websites for a short time. The first Destination Truth episode of the season featured Josh and his team went to Pompeii to search for ghosts, and to Africa to search for a beast called the Nandi Bear. Destination Truth is an awesome cryptozoology/paranormal show that airs on Syfy channel. They go to places and investigate things that no one else does (they’ve even been to Chernobyl), and they found some pretty compelling Yeti proof that’s still being investigated by labs today. Plus, Josh is very cute and charismatic. So if you’re into monster hunting and cute geeks definitely check it out. (more…)

Like My Icon?

Oh, Aizen, what are you doing?

In less than 12 hours I’m going to get blood work. Not looking forward to it exactly, but I’m glad it’s finally getting done. After this I’ll have to go to the doctor and get the papers to have an MRI and CT Scan. My mom called on Sunday and asked if I wanted to go to Eat n Park on Monday using the rest of the gift card she had. I could tell she was drunk (as always), and didn’t think she’d actually end up doing it, but I agreed. Monday came and of course she called and said she couldn’t go. The landlord said he might come fix the water and she had to be there for it. Ridiculous. If she doesn’t want to follow through with something, why ask? Not only could the landlord let himself in, but that bum she’s living with doesn’t work. Let him make himself useful. There was no reason for her to stay. So Cynthia took me out today to McDonalds. I thought she would. She usually does after my mom changes her mind. I was hoping to get up to CVS and see if they had Neocash cards, but that’ll have to wait until Cynthia takes me again.

My mom said she’s been working a lot recently, and once she starts getting money I can have my disability for myself. BS! It runs out in November, and she’s only working part time! If, by some miracle, I do get it before then I’d like to get a camera. I toyed with the idea of getting one with my b-day money, but I only got $125 (counting the $25 my mom took). I looked on Ebay and found some cheap ones, but it’s too risky, and not the buying on Ebay part. I did have a really cheap digital camera before and it was crap. It barely worked and the pictures it took were horrible quality. Then earlier this year I found that the batteries had basically disintegrated inside it and I had to throw it away. So I can’t risk spending up to $125 of the only money I have only something that could turn out to be worthless. I could get a decent one for $200 though, so I’m hoping my mom will come through this once so I can get one. I’ve wanted one for years, I’m really interested in photography as a hobby.

I thought See the Monkey Dance was the best Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode I’d ever seen… then I saw An Unlocked Window. Scared the crap out of me.

I haven’t seen any anime recently. My headphones broke again, there’s only sound coming out of one ear unless you hold the cord the right way, so I can’t watch anything until I get new ones. This did give me a chance to catch up with the scanlations of Skip Beat! and I found out that two more chapters of Gunslinger Girl were scanlated. I hadn’t read anything “new” from it in about a year, since no one’s really scanlating it. Now if someone could just get out a couple chapters of Junjou Romantica… at least Okane ga Nai is pretty regular right now. Since I’m on a forced break from anime right now I’m going to take this opportunity to get through some more manga. I have a ton of BL on here, and there’s some other manga I want to get ahead in.

Since I’m animeless I’ve had to find other things to amuse myself with. One of those things is Neopets, and the other is VDex Project. I dressed up and entered two of my pets in the Style Showdown. The first one didn’t get in, like I knew it wouldn’t, and I’m sure the second one won’t either, but I love customizing on Neopets so this was a lot of fun for me. You can see my two entries after the jump. I love VDex Project. It’s the best adoptables site out there in my opinion. Here’s me and my party looking awesome.

I’ve caught 262 Pokemon, with 224 Pokedex entries. I am this close to getting the Marsh badge. VDex is so much more fun and involving than GPXPlus, which I’ve grown bored with. VDex requires a higher level of dedication and interaction, because it’s freaking hard to catch these Pokemon, and you have to actually go get them, not just sit around the lab and shelter waiting. There needs to be more adoptables sites like this one.

In the fanlistings department I have several upcoming, and two recently finished. Code Geass: Charles and Lelouch relationship fanlisting and the fl for British comedy My Family are online. A word of caution for anyone trying to view, the last one won’t display right in all resolutions, I am still working on that little bugger. On TFL I got a most awesome approval, English actress Natalie Dormer, best known for playing Anne Boleyn on Showtime’s The Tudors (which she was awesome in). The fanlisting has been designed and I just have to code it and get it online. At TAFL my upcomings are series Ghost Hound and Mitsudomoe the angela song and Seitokai Yakuindomo ED Aoi Haru (the best thing about that stupid series), and the Mitsudomoe character Marui Hitoha.

Maybe it Was McGonagall

Mmm, food. I’m still only eating once a day. I said I would and I am, even though I’m half forcing myself to do it. After I went to Cynthia’s my mood stabilized for a little bit. The last blog, Epic Troll, shows that best. Then my mom called again (she was going to the store) and just hearing from her sent me spiraling again. She called again yesterday, Cynthia said because she wanted to know how I was since I hadn’t called her. So I asked why she didn’t call, and she said it was because I didn’t call her. Then she had the audacity to call me stubborn. When someone runs you our of their home, it kind of makes it seem like you don’t want to talk to them. If she wondered how I was (which I doubt she did) her phone works. We didn’t talk much, but she wondered if Kribel’s (a bakery) took food stamps. At first I didn’t know why she was talking about getting a cake, it took me a little while to realize my birthday is now three days away. She offered to try to bake a cake, but she doesn’t have any cake pans or a spatula so I don’t know if she will. She also still does not have a job. She says no one will hire her because she’s too old, but she’s not even 50 yet. I don’t think she’s really trying. Also, our disability hasn’t gone through, so she hasn’t paid the rest of the rent. She says she’s going to drop the internet for now, and later on we’ll switch to Verizon, which I think is stupid, stupid, stupid. I don’t like Comcast, but I’m used to it and know what to expect. I have On Demand, I have the channels I want, and the caller ID comes up on the TV screen. I also saw their packages, and until Comcast Current TV, Sundance, IFC, and other channels aren’t included. I saw my mom briefly yesterday when I took Cynthia’s money down to her so she could stop at McD instead of us going. It was so hot, and when I said Cynthia and I were planning on going down later, she offered to do something nice and go get it herself. When I went down I also took the opportunity to get my cat. My mom said Allie had been very depressed and kept looking for me, and I’d been wanting to get her anyway so I did. I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep her up here though. The heat isn’t bad right now, but she hasn’t drunk any water or used the litter box since she got here, and Allie is a big water drinker. She gave the water one tentative lick, and stepped into the litter for the first time an hour ago, but she immediately got out. If she doesn’t get used to it soon I’ll have to take her back. (more…)

Epic Troll

It was a mean trick. A mean, mean trick, A-1 Pictures. Kuroshitsuji fans know what I’m talking about. A-1 did the anime Kuroshitsuji, based on the manga of the same name. They completed ruined it by going off on their own instead of following the manga, and sort of had the main character die at the end (sort of because we never saw it). So when they announced they were going to do a second series of it, fans were interested but skeptical. What could they do now, and what would the quality of the story be like after last seasons travesty? The date for the anime kept getting pushed back, and no information came out. And when it finally did, we were wishing it hadn’t. They said the anime would feature a new boy and demon butler. Art and previews came out, and at a special event they had the last butler Sebastian (Ono Daisuke) symbolically hand over his gloves to new butler whatever his name is (Sakurai Takahiro). Throughout all this some fans raged, other fans cried (seriously, girls cried at that event, and not happy tears). They were doing it again, they were ruining our Black Butler. The first episode of the new anime came out at the beginning of July. The new boy, a sadistic blond devil who gouges a maids eye out, and his boring, copycat demon annoyed the crap out of people until halfway through a familiar stranger turned up. Sebastian was there to kick ass (carrying Ciel in a suitcase, lol). We got played. We were trolled. It was all a cruel trick. Oh, has ever an anime treated its fans so horribly? Even Bleach isn’t as mean as this (I personally think Alois Trancy is a representation of A-1 and we are their servants), and they’re known to torment their fans. I don’t doubt that those two will probably be main characters, new thorns in Ciel and Seba-chans sides, but thank goodness the two real main charas are there, and will probably kick the imposters asses. Unfortunately, their joke was spoiled for me, due to Kuroshitsuji fans not being able to keep their mouths shut about it. I would have liked to have found out on my own, and been surprised, but I knew ahead of time that Sebastian was going to show up. I waited until the second episode was out to write this, so I’d know that last weeks preview with Sebastian and Ciel wasn’t another trick. Even though the original characters were there the second episode was rocky. Some parts were funny, like when Sebastian opened the trunk and a pig was in there, but overall the story as lacking. I also think they’ve altered the designs of the characters a little bit, or it was just bad animation. Still there were a few good shots of Sebastian that I’d like to make into icons, especially in the episode 3 preview (which looks like Grell will be returning in, if the preview can be trusted). Don’t Ask Me

Schneizel isn’t too happy either. I don’t know what’s going on. My mom called yesterday, about a half an hour after I went out with Cynthia. I called when I got back and she said she’d see me tomorrow (now today) since she gets paid. So did she get fired from her job? Well, she called at 3:03, so if she was in Dormont she wasn’t at work then. And she gets paid on Thursdays. Not to mention the fact that she wasn’t at work for at least half the last week, and she never stopped buy or called, so she didn’t bring any milk or food from there (when she has food stamps) and didn’t call. So I still believe she isn’t working. We’ll see if she calls or comes by today like she said she would, it’s going on 4:30 right now. She also didn’t mention the thing she mentioned before, which I’m still not going to talk about. Right now I’m in wait and see mode, but regardless of what does and does not happen I think the best option is to do it now before the medication affect is anymore diluted. Go Team Shenkuu!

No icon of my own this time since I come bearing many gifts in the form of 100×100 anime (+ Amy Lee) avatars. They are Bleach (Byakuya, Ukitake, Neliel/Nel Tu, Yoruichi), Code Geass (Schneizel, Kanon, Cecile, Tianzi, Anya, Jeremiah, Lelouch, Kaguya, Darlton), Junjou Romantica (Usami Akihiko aka Usagi), 238 in total. More will be added soon including Bleach, Code Geass, Junjou, Okane ga Nai, Durarara, Kuroshitsuji, and other things on my anime list. It’s the Altador Cup at Neopets right now. I’ve paticipated at least three times before, and this is my second year with Shenkuu. I think I was originally with Darigan, though it could have been Faerieland, when I joined and it started it was 04-06 so I don’t really remember. When I saw Shenkuu last year I knew it was the team for me. I love all things Shenkuu, it’s my favorite place (there needs to be more Neovia stuff too). I’m doing my best to seriously participate this time. If Shenkuu loses I don’t want it to be because of me. Other team supporters on The Daily Neopets have some pretty strict goals, but I’m trying to keep up with them. My goals are 5 for Slushie Slinger, 10 for Make Some Noise, and 600 for Shootout Showdown. I don’t have any for Yooyuball. I despise Yooyuball. In the past I’ve never been able to score any goals. Now I can usually get at least one and keep the ball away from the other team long enough to win. The most goals I ever got was 6, I don’t expect that to happen again. I’ve been pretty good with my goals, although it’s only my third day playing so it doesn’t mean anything. I did 670 the first day for SOSD and 923 the second. I’m now up to Level 4. I’ve never gotten past beginner before, so I’m really excited, though it’s going to be very difficult from here on out. I don’t think I’ll make it to All-Star (I personally don’t believe it’s humanly possible, so if you did it you’re probably a secret government experiment) but I’ll do my best and get as far as I can. Can You Tell I Hate Titles?

Today is the last day of my mom’s two days off, then she works the next two days and has off Friday. She said we’d go out to Red Lobster yesterday, but we didn’t, and ordered from Domino’s instead. I haven’t gotten food from there in years. I got my usual, plain wings, and my mom tried their new pizza. We also got their new dessert Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes. I had their last chocolate dessert years ago and it was awful, so I wasn’t expecting much from this, but it turned out to be wonderful. Today we went out with her acquaintance Randy to DeBlasio’s. It was okay, and I managed to eat quite a lot. All my steak except the edges, 4 pieces of bread, most of my baked potato, and a few french fries. My mom had a surf and turf type meal, a steak and small lobster tail, and a few bites of salad and she was done. She was drunk by the time we got there. We went to his place first and she drank some vodka, then a beer, and was drunk after that, then had at least one glass of wine at the restaurant. After we ate we stopped in Giant Eagle since we almost never get to the store now (no car), but my mom was drunk and rushing around yelling that she didn’t know where anything was (she always does that though), so we didn’t get everything we needed. We might get to house sit for Randy for a week started Apr 3. I love his townhouse, and we were supposed to house sit for him when he went to Hawaii for two weeks, but he left early so we didn’t get to.

In anime I’m watching Durarara!!, Bleach (stay away from my Bleach you Hollywood creeps!), Hidamari Sketch, K-ON, Hanasakeru Seishounen, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Kanon, Kimikiss Pure Rouge, Gakuen Heaven, Air, Hunter x Hunter. I’m watching quite a few others, but these I’m watching somewhat regularly, and the others I’m just doing episodes whenever I feel like it. I still have at least 20 other series on here to start. I’m love my Bleach, Durarara (Isaac and Miria, you too?!) is my precious, Hanasakeru is okay, but I don’t like Rumaty/Lumati and hate all the crap about his country. I like Li Ren and Eugene. When the Cicadas Cry was better in the first scenario and has gone downhill from there. Hidamari Sketch is surprisingly likable. I’m not a big slice of life fan, Aria and especially Azumanga drive me crazy, but Hidamari Sketch is much better and easier to take. I have a lot more on here, so I’ve got to get moving. 748 more episodes to watch…

I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars often but I know the judges are jerks. That said, their score for Niecy Nash was very unfair. After that show I switched to Nick like I usually do at night, and I saw a new promo for the KCA with Nicola Peltz and Jackson Rathbone, where the Katara LA actress will try to “slimebend.” She was cute, but once again Sokka was called Soh-ka. I swear if he’s called that in the actual movie I will revolt, and I encourage all other Avatar: TLA fans to do the same. If Sokka is pronounced Soh-ka in the movie, Avatar fans should start calling them all different names: Cat-tara, Ung, Zuck-o, EE-roh, Ozaii (like Hawaii)… Anything but their real names. I saw the promo again the next day and it was corrected to Sokka!

Yesterday it was one year since all my health crap started. Right now I haven’t had much side pain recently for a few months now, little eye pain, no shooting pain, and some mild numbness. But my headaches, which I started getting really bad a few months after March 22nd, and the pains in my head are continuing. I’m surprised nothing has happened this spring yet, and hopefully it won’t knock on wood. It’s been one year since my health problems started, and two years since my grandfather and aunts house burned down (I always think Nanny’s house, but my grandmother died several years ago, so…) I don’t remember what happened the spring before that, but it’s possible the bowlegged freak was there and that was hell. Of course bad things happen all year round, but spring is a particularly bad time. Hopefully the streak will break and some good luck will start coming our way.

I don’t know whether to drag the computer into the bedroom, or wait and see if Bleach and Kobato are released… Edit: Bleach came out, I’ll wait a little longer for Kobato and then I’m going back to watch more anime. Edit 2: Got Kobato, getting off.

Finally a New Post

I haven’t updated this with a real blog entry in a while. Just haven’t felt like it. Mostly I’ve been watching anime and online at either Global PokédeX Plus or Dragon Cave. I finally got a Ditto on GPX (still looking for Lugia, Winter Vulpix, Mew, and Shaymin) and a vampire dragon on Dragon Cave. Now I’m trying to hatch a sunrise dragon. Edit 1/26: Finally got a Winter Vulpix on my fifth try. Edit 1/27: Mwahaha! Shaymin you are mine!

With anime I’ve mainly been sticking to a few specific ones, but that changed with the new season of anime. Those are Bleach, Prince of Tennis, Wallflower (aka Perfect Girl Evolution, aka Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge), Ouran, Nodame Cantabile, and Itazura na Kiss. Awesome, awesome, awesome, good, okay, …okay. I finally got caught up with Bleach probably about a month ago, and now I just love love love it. I really want to give it an 8 just for how likable and how much fun it is. But everytime I get the urge I have to remind myself of all the times it made me want bash my head against the wall. It’s a 7 anime. Prince of Tennis is still really good, but I’ve been on a break from it because they’re at a tournament and Ryoma’s up and it’s making me nervous. I loved Perfect Girl Evolution (which is known by three names, my preference being The Wallflower because it’s short and easy to remember), and it went on to become my fastest anime, I finished at three days. I was surprised at how quickly I connected with it, and how quickly it went. Ouran was good, and it’s in second place at 7 days, although I technically saw the first episode (several times) almost a year ago. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do that again, I just can’t watch that many episodes at once, especially of the same anime (except near the end for Bleach, I was at about 20 a day). Nodame is okay, and it doesn’t grate on me as much as Itazura does. I was hoping to get caught up on all the Nodame Cantabile series before the last one came out, but that was an unrealistic dream.

For the winter season I added Durarara!!, Ookamikakushi, and Dance in the Vampire Bund. I may start watching Hanamaru Youchien, but I’m not sure yet. I was so disappointed Kuroshitsuji 2 wasn’t going to start airing this month like some idiot on MAL said it would, but hopefully it’ll start in the spring. I like Durarara, enough for me to give it an 8 on the second ep, which is something I never do. I liked it so much it gave me a renewed interest in Baccano, which I am also finding myself liking. Ookamikakushi… well, it’s my own fault because I could tell what it was going to be like, so now I’m just hoping it’ll get better. The characters are so friggin annoying. Vampire Bund had one of the most original first eps I’ve ever seen, but the second wasn’t as good. I also knew what I was getting myself into there, but I’m weak and stupid. I’ve been downloading a ton of anime, so I’m going to be taking a break from the internet for a few days again so I watch it.

After several months I finally got out again, and to The Cheesecake Factory no less. Unfortunately it was Martin Luther King Jr Day, which is an official holiday here, so a ton of people and brats had off. We got there less than a half an hour after they opened and it was already packed. We were seated next to these “rich” women and one of them had thrown her big coat over the divider between the booths, so it was practically in my seat. I wanted to throw mine over so it would hit them on the head. People are so rude and obnoxious, they really have no concern for others. It wasn’t that great there either, and I was the one paying for it, so that’s minus $40. We should have gone to Red Lobster. After we went to the Jo Beth bookstore. Even though I hate them, I hadn’t read anything in a while except The Lovely Bones (which is an awful book, don’t believe the hype). They didn’t have The Shining or any interesting bios, so I got Ender’s Game, which I’ve been meaning to read for a while.

I’ve got two new fl layouts up now, my Maria Sharapova, and Amber’s K-ON one. I love the coding on the second one, it looks really good further down on the page. A preview of what will be the layout of my new anime fl collective domain Zangetsuki.org is here. I prefer my current layout, but I decided to move that one to Among the Stars since its layout only looks good in 1024×764. That’s if I don’t try to fix it with div id’s, but it’s so much hassle since I’m not used to that yet. I’ve been downloading a ton of textures for layouts and icons, so expect to see more, esp of the icons, I still have a lot to upload, and a lot more I want to make. I’ve already made over 100 Schneizel and Clovis bases, and I want to make more for other fandoms. Since he hasn’t been here in a while, and he’s really missed sharing his hotness in my posts, Schneizel once again gets to be my icon.
