What’s Going on Hosting Edition

So, I for the past few years I was hosted by Holdfire, a small company owned by Jordan Miskowisc/jordanriane of Ngametv. Generally it was a horrible host, the worst host I’ve ever had, and I was with Lypha. That’s saying something. There was a lot of downtime, she clearly did not know what she was doing, and was always rude to her customers. I’m not the only person who feels that Holdfire and its support was lacking. But they were cheap. Especially in early September. Supposedly sometime between the beginning of June (when Holdfire’s Twitter account stopped being updated) and then Jordan sold Holdfire. No one was notified, and if there was a new owner they clearly had less interest in it than Jordan. EditDNS which provided services for Holdfire was closing their users were encouraged to switch to their company. To let people know they were having scheduled downtime for their clients. Which of course affected their clients clients as well. Meaning me and all the other Holdfire users. So much downtime. Whoever was running Holdfire didn’t know/care about this. When I saw the message from EditDNS and realized that Holdfire could soon disappear due to the negligence of its owner, I began backing up my site. I made it in time, and luckily still had my birthday money to pay for a new host. It was between three companies, SharkSpace, WHB, and Beachcomber. I had domain monitors on sites I knew were hosted by them since the last time I was trying to decide on a new host. Then it was between four, SharkSpace, WHB, Beachcomber, and Holdfire. Clearly I made the bad choice there. I wasn’t even sure about my choice then either, which is why I set up the domain monitors, so next time I would be. All did well for the first couple years, then the first two started having more and more downtime. Beachcomber was the only one that was consistently up. And they had a half off deal. I couldn’t afford reseller hosting anymore, but I’m okay with that. This is even better in some ways since all my sites are together again instead of being spread out through several different accounts.

Before signing up I sent Beachcomber an email, just to make sure they were still around. Unlike Holdfire they don’t seem to have a forum, blog, or Twitter account, so there’s no way to tell if they’re still active. Just looking at Holdfire itself wouldn’t clue you in, but seeing that their Twitter account hasn’t been updated in almost 4 months is enough. I soon got an email back saying they were still alive and kicking, with an lol thrown in. A little unprofessional, but prompt. After signing up I soon got a call from them, which I was expecting. Most hosts call to confirm but most hosts are big companies who use automated systems. I had to talk to an actual, human person. I am determined never to do it again!!! Outside my family at least… At least there’s comfort in the fact that phone anxiety is actually pretty common. After that my account was set up within minutes. So far Beachcomber has had great uptime. But there have been some problems, the biggest being something to do with the way the server is set up. I’ve never had this problem with any host before, but there was some server setting interfering with WordPress and Enthusiast. It really, really drove me crazy, but eventually I found a solution to it, and now everything is working perfectly now. Though my IP was locked out for several hours due to my tinkering.

I have unpinned my status post, but I am still not done uploading everything. I had almost 24000 files to upload, which is a lot for a normal connection. With my borrowed wireless that has close to dial-up speeds it takes fucking forever. Some files I had to upload twice because the first time they didn’t upload correctly. I still have a few thousand at least to go, but I’ve got all my fanlistings up, as well as this blog, which are the important things. TFL and TAFL have had to deal with a lot of messages from me for the past year, what with all my internet and hosting problems. Hopefully now they will both be corrected.

My mother was wrong, and Cyndy was coming back tonight, not yesterday. So I’ll call her tomorrow and Monday, and hopefully, hopefully, hopefully I’ll have internet installed this week or the first week of October. The internet has been particularly shitty the past few days, not that it isn’t always. The way to find out whether internet is working for me is this: Is this internet not working? It’s not working. Is the internet working? It’s not working. “The internet is working” just means Comcast hasn’t set up their blockade, “The internet isn’t working” means they have. It doesn’t mean I can always actually get on. I really want to get internet before this connection goes down again. Because it is going down again. This has been happening since February and every time it happens again sooner, and for a longer period of time. I know the signs now and when the blockade is approaching, and the signs are here.

Oh, and I had to be responsible recently… I had money leftover after hosting and… I had to spent $36 on flash drives. *sigh* I’m getting 32 GB, but you don’t actually get all that. It would actually take 60 GB to backup everything I need to keep safe, but I don’t have that kind of money right now. Spending that much on two 16 GB drives that won’t even hold everything I need was hard, when I could buy a lot more other things for less, but it’s important.

A Little Late Summer Cleaning

Because spring cleaning never happened. While searching my site for malware the other day, I also did a little maintenance removing all the old and unneeded files from my site. I thought I should do so for my others sites and my computer as well, as it’s long overdue. I ran WP-Optimize on my WordPress and it got the file down to 2 MB, when it had been over 15 MB. That made it much easier it download. I finally updated my WordPress because I haven’t in a very long time (and I don’t like the new look WP, or the font post text box). Next I cleaned up my desktop which was completely covered in files, and changed the wallpaper. It actually wasn’t the one in the sidebar at the bottom of the page, I’ve had several different wallpapers since then.

Then I cleared out a folder on my computer, but that’s all I’m going to take that slowly, because just that one was annoying enough. This is why my computer and domains get so cluttered, but I hate tedious things! After that I ran CCleaner, now I’m running Windows Defender, then after that Malwarebytes scan, and Norton scan. This is going to take forever. But you can never be too careful. I’m also have a lot to do with my browsers too. I finally closed all my Firefox windows (I had about 25 open) and I’ve cut down on my Chrome windows (only 19 open right now!) as well. I’ve also exported my bookmarks to both Delicious and Google, and I’m clear out the ones actually on the computer. I have over 1000, many of them Pinterest pages (I don’t know why I didn’t just re-pin the images I liked, instead of bookmarking hundreds of pages, but I did).

My technology aren’t the only ones getting work done today, my poor Allie cat had to have some maintenance of her own. Her brush just isn’t good enough for her, it’s more suited to short haired cats and can’t get the undercoat, and my senile old lady isn’t cleaning herself as thoroughly as she used to. That means she’s getting lumps. So I gave up on her brush, and tried the fine toothed end of a comb I never used. OMG I didn’t know she had that much fur on her! I don’t know how she has any left after all the brushing I did. Clump after clump of all fur came off her. I’m still not done, and I haven’t gotten any of the matted fur off her yet, because she’s a cat and very disagreeable. She somewhat put up with it for a while because she likes getting brushed, but she didn’t like the comb getting caught on her. And she also doesn’t like to stay in one place while getting brushed, and constantly moves around, making it very difficult. I’ve got many a scratch on me now from trying to make her sit still.

Mommy dearest didn’t call this weekend despite her saying “I can’t go that long without talking to you!!!eleventy” :side: (I just realized I don’t have a sufficient eye roll smiley…) She’s gone weeks without talking to me before, I know she can last a weekend. Maybe she’ll call today. I need to know whether she’s really going through with this or not, because there are things I’d have to do before moving, like having my last baby tooth pulled. :hick:

Flounder of Betrayal

I quite like these flounder titles. But I didn’t start a new blog just to be cute. Today, my computer Haruko decided to give me a belated birthday “present”. At around 2:30 the screen suddenly went black and wouldn’t come back on. The computer itself was still on. I could hear it running, the light on front signifying power was still on, and even the CD tray would open. But no matter how many times I pressed the power button and no matter what keys I pushed, the screen would not come on, and the power would not turn off. So I unplugged the power cord and decided to let the battery die (as that was the only way to get it to turn off) and hope that it would work again when I plugged it back in. Obviously, it did. After 5:30 I noticed the battery light blinking, and at 6 the power went off. So I plugged it back in, pressed the power button, felt my heart leap when all the lights lit up, and breathed a sigh of relief when the Windows start up came on the screen. So it’s working for now, but obviously there is some sort of problem or this wouldn’t have happened. I had forgotten until today, but between 1-3 months ago the screen did go black like today, but only for a few seconds. It concerned me then, but it came back on, and I forgot about it. Until now Haruko has given me practically no trouble. That should have tipped me off. Besides that black screen, and one error message earlier in the year, it’s been a very good (or just devious) laptop. So please continue to be good Haruko, and don’t give me any more scares. My nerves can’t take it. I was terrified that I’d lost everything (AGAIN!!!) and that I wouldn’t have a computer anymore.

You Can’t Get There from Here

Yesterday was my mom’s birthday. She’s 48 now I think. She got two cards, not including the one she got from work, 2 helium balloons from work, and a chocolate cake. And she’s getting sick with a cold. Birthdays in this family aren’t particularly great, especially for the older people.

Even though she’s getting sick, she still managed to get out today, since she’s been putting off going to the mall to get my gift card. On the way there I saw a ton of squirrels and at least 6 deer, most of them in a group. When we got there I had a cherry ICEE at the Mrs. Fields stand in the food court so I’d have the energy to walk around since I hadn’t eaten, and got a few chocolate cookies. Once I saw them I knew I had to have one, they look great (though that’s no indicator of taste). They’re called something like chewy fudge. Then we wandered around the Barnes and Noble out there for a while. I love Barnes and Noble, and the one in South Hills Village is wonderful. I looked in the manga section first. Looking around I decided Del Ray is the best US manga publisher. They keep the names right and use the honorifics. I hate when translators put the names First Last and don’t use the proper terms. I know it’s for the idiots who don’t read manga/watch anime and don’t know what it means, but they’ll never learn if they don’t see it.

I saw a lot, The Wallflower, Skip Beat, Sukuran, Monster, Bleach of course, but I didn’t get anything. I thought about getting the first Prince of Tennis since I’m going to start reading it, but none of the regulars are in it. If they’d hate Kuroshitsuji, Jiraishin (which they wouldn’t since Jiraishin never finished printing here). There weren’t any Code Geass light novels either, I would have considered getting it, and I definitely would have if any Schneizel or Clovis stuff was in it. I briefly checked the Teen section before moving on to Bios and saw Ahar’s new book Token of Darkness, but I still haven’t finished her last book Persistence of Memory, so I’ll wait til the paper back. In Biographies I had to choose between Jane Boleyn, Catherine de Medici, and the Borgia’s. The Borgia’s were pretty screwed up, so I thought they’d be the most interesting. I also found this incredibly beautiful journal (the design continues on the back, but isn’t shown). It was a little under $10. It caught my eye immediately, and once I looked inside I knew I had to have it. All the outside of the pages are in beautiful, vibrantly colored designs. You can see a little bit of the inside here. If I had I scanner I’d scan some pages in. Most of journals I buy lay untouched anyway, but this one is way to pretty to write in. I’ll have to put it somewhere safe.

After that I had to go get what was supposed to be my Visa gift card, but the mall completely screwed us over. There were signs everywhere for their new American Express cards, and they made it seem like they didn’t sell the Visa ones anymore. Then when we neared the counter I saw a small sign up there for the “US Bank Issued” Visa gift cards, and they made it seem like there was a monthly fee on them, like the Green Dot cards. The woman up there immediately swooped down and didn’t even give me a chance to look over the signs and said that there was a monthly fee on them. Either she was lying or didn’t know what she was talking about, because after I got the card and was able to read the sign, I saw that it was the same old Visa gift card, the monthly fee they were talking about was the same one they always had in place, after a year of the cards activation. So obviously they’re pushing these Amex cards and scamming people to do it. The woman also said you could activate the card online to be able to use it on the internet, and no, you can’t, that’s only for Visa. I had to have my mom call the place to get it activated for me.

My mother and I were really starving by then, so we walked from the mall to Eat’n Park, the only restaurant near there (besides crappy TGI Fridays and Olive Garden). I had my usual chicken fillets, and after complaining about how much she hates Eat’n Park, my mom finally decided to go with the salad bar. The chicken fillets come in 4 or 5 pieces and I was going to go with the 4 piece so I could try their lava cake dessert, but I thought what I always do “Well I haven’t eaten in a while, and I’m really hungry, so I think I’ll be able to do it.” Wrong. I always know that’ll happen but I never listen to my better judgement. My mom and I always sadly joke about it, we’re “fat” people (chubby really, we’re not like real fat people) who can’t eat. It’s not fair. We’re “fat” people who can’t eat like fat people. What’s the point of being “fat” if you can’t eat? We eat a little bit and we’re full. My mom only had a small plate from the salad bar with coleslaw, little tomatoes, olives, a piece of cantaloupe, lettuce, and other rabbit food and was full. It’s ridiculous. Most people eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but we could never do that, no matter how light the meal was.

This is the last time we’ll be going to South Hills Village for a while. We usually don’t go there a lot anyway, just twice a year to get my cards. But it’s really going to be hard from now on. Pittsburgh Port Authority is completely messing up their schedules, cutting service, and renaming lines. Instead of the lines being named so you know where you’re going, it’s just going to be colors. Blue line, red line, etc. People don’t know what they’re doing now, no one’s going to know what to do when this crap starts next week. Now it’s going to take two buses or two street cars both ways to get to and from the mall. You have to get on the public transportation method of your choice, go most of the way, get off, get on another bus or street car, and go the rest of the way, to the mall and back. They already started doing two street cars going from the mall about a year ago. We had to do it today, and for some reason they switched the street car going back to the other side of the track, the side that’s supposed to go toward the mall, and the trolley going to the mall was on the side it’s supposed to go back on. But we had to get the first, and everyone else switching got there before us, because my mom asked for a transfer to switch cars. All this changing cars costs extra money, you have to pay for your ride halfway, then pay the rest of the way, and my mom wasn’t having it. So the jerk driver didn’t let us cross before he went, and blocked us waiting at the light. So we got to stand there for a few minutes before we could go (after that we had the mess trying to figure out what trolley to get on, since they switched sides). And that was my day. My mom’s going back to work tomorrow, so I don’t know when I’ll be out again. I never did get to go to Red Lobster, so hopefully we’ll go in a few weeks.

Before I started writing this I had to buy my anti-virus. I decided to go with Norton despite their spammy popups I’ve gotten everday since my trial expired (like 5 a day) and their large amounts of CPU usage (once it took me to 99%). But it was an ordeal. I found a coupon for 20% off on retailmenot (20OFFTOP). It took $15.40 off the $69.99 Internet Security + $6.99 download insurance, and with the $4.31 tax and $1.00 extra charge to my card it ended up costing $66.89. When I was filling out the order for it I kept getting a “session expired” error and had to start over 5 or 6 times. I finally figured out they did that to stop people from de-selecting the auto-renew since whenever I did that it redirected me to the other page. It was annoying, but I just changed it on their member website. There’ll be nothing left to charge to by then anyway. Now I finally have real anti-virus again.

Back Online

Well I’m back, and much sooner than expected. I was without a computer for about 6 days, counting the half of Thanksgiving and the half of Tuesday. I got my new computer yesterday. We were supposed to go on Monday when my mom had off, but she called late in the afternoon to say she wasn’t feeling well. Then I got a surprise call early Tuesday afternoon with her telling me to get ready to go out to Best Buy since she had called off. Her and Matt had a fight and she didn’t get a lot of sleep, had been crying, etc, so she called off. She says they’ve broken up, then says she hasn’t decided yet, but they’ve been breaking up since I was 5. At the most if they break up it’ll be a couple years, at the least a few months.

Anyway I got ready and then after I was done (an hour later, it takes so much effort now) she said she didn’t know if she wanted to go all the way out to Best Buy after all, and maybe we could go to a restaurant in Dormont instead? I said that I didn’t go through all the trouble of getting ready just to go up the street. So she managed to drag herself out and we took the street car to South Hills Village. Even though they’re overpriced, Best Buy is basically the only tech place we can get to around here, besides the Mac store in the mall near there, but that’s way out of our price range. We can only stare longingly through the windows until the sales people chase us away. It’s good we went out then because at that time she had caught me in one of my mellow moods where I can go either way, and getting out and going to the store put me into a good mood, so I was very receptive and willing to look around. I guess it was a good time, because I haven’t been in an okay mood in a while. The first one we saw was not going to happen, a 160 GB hard drive. I would only accept that if I couldn’t get anything else. She showed me a computer she had seen online, an Asus with a 320 hard drive, 4 GB memory, 64 bit, 16″ widescreen, with a webcam and facial recognition, for $480. I’d never heard of Asus, and preferred a well-known, big name computer like HP or Dell. It was also pretty ugly, so we continued to look around. Then I saw a Toshiba for $430. It had a less features, and was a little smaller, but it was much cuter and cheaper since I also needed to get anti-virus and was hoping to get a wireless router. We couldn’t afford the anti-virus that day (right now I’m using a trial of Norton, I’ll be getting Kaspersky) and decided to hold off on the router and get them at the same time. So here is the laptop I got:

Toshiba – Satellite Laptop with AMD Athlon™ II Dual-Core Processor – Graphite Gray
Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (don’t listen to them, Win 7 sucks)
3GB RAM
320GB Hard drive (actually 288/270)
15.6″ HD Widescreen
2 hrs battery
Prettiness

I’m so shallow. The pictures on the site do not do it justice. If I had a digital camera (like this crappy but cutie that caught my eye) I would post pictures of it. I also saw these three amazing wireless mouses 1 2 3, that are so expensive but absolutely gorgeous. I love them all, especially #s 2 and 3, but I think the third one would go best with my laptop. After choosing the laptop we had a slight ordeal trying to purchase it. The guy who was checking us out (and who had been giving us advice) was kind of a jerk, and then he couldn’t accept cash and had to send us to someone else. It was then while waiting we decided to hold off on the router. While there we also looked at the cameras, netbooks since my mom wants one, and the computer games since I haven’t had any in years. I think I own two: Sim City 3000 and the first Harry Potter game. I don’t know if any new ones I’d like to buy would play on this laptop, I don’t know what the compatability is for them. So far all the previous software I had Filezilla, VLC, KMP, even Paint Shop Pro installed and appear to work without a problem.

When we were leaving I told my mom I would have to think up a new name for the computer. I had previously decided on Poj, standing for piece of junk, but since I got a “nice” one I couldn’t name it that. Since it’s a Japanese computer I thought it should have a Japanese name, but then there’s the problem of whether a computer is a boy or a girl. I started thinking through names beforehand, mostly from different anime. Haruhiko was one of them, and keeping with the H’s I really love the name Haruka. All of my computers have been boys (except maybe one) and felt that this one was too, so Haruka wasn’t an option. So I changed the ka to ko since it sounds like it could go either way. My new laptops name is Haruko. I don’t know if I’ll be able to name my network, I know on some you can, and I’d like an anime name for that as well. After sifting through some Code Geass ones, I thought it should be tech related, and what anime is more computer and internet related than Serial Experiments Lain? So if I can it’ll probably be Cyberia, the name of the club there, unless I find a different one from it. The only issues I have with the laptop so far is stupid Windows 7, which may be better than Vista, but not XP, the touchpad/mouse, the internet cord not staying in, and that I’m forced to use a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 instead of my preferred 1024×768. Everything looks so much better in 1024×768.

When we got home we stopped at McDonalds and I got an Angus Third Pounder since I haven’t had one in a while because of my throat, and was bad and had 1 1/2 pops to get the burger and fries down, since its so hard to eat with water. I’d want to try their hot chocolate too, even though I’ve never liked hot chocolate when I’ve had it. Too watery. Hopefully theirs would be different.

Last Post

So this is supposed to be my last day online. Really this time. My mom finally got the flash drives on Thursday and got them to me on Friday. 50 some dollars for two 8 GB at Best Buy. They’re half that online. So since I had got everything I needed backed up down from 25 to 20 to 19 and then only had 16 GB I had to get zipping and uploading again. So some of my stuff might not be there when I get a computer because it didn’t zip right, or didn’t upload right, or MU decided to delete it. I knew they wouldn’t actually fit 8 GB each, but I still thought it would be enough after I got them both under 8 GB. Nope. The first one fit 7.80 GB and the second on 7.30. So I had to delete some of my precious Code Geass episodes, and over 630 MB of music. While trying to upload everything I kept getting “undefined” and “The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable” errors. This is driving me crazy. You can’t upload the same file twice, and it knows even if you rename it because it’s still the same size, so I can’t even upload them again. So I had to keep changing the files so they would have different sizes when I needed to reupload them, but I don’t know what I’m going to do about my music, since they still keep saying “The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable,” some on and off, and some have been like that since I uploaded them. Right now two of my Code Geass soundtracks are saying it, and God knows how many other files are saying it as well, since there are so many I can’t check them all, it would take too long to upload them all again, and they’ve probably already been deleted from the computer anyway.

I still have to delete my music and a couple various files, uninstall my last programs (BitTorrent, Filezilla, VLC Media Player, KMPlayer, Firefox). I’m waiting a little while longer to do that since then I won’t be able to listen to music or watch anything for a while. Right now I’m downloading the latest Kobato. episode so I’ll get to watch that before everything has to go. I’d like to get in some Kuroshitsuji chapters too. I was happy to find out that the second anime is actually supposed to start in January, and not spring like I had originally thought, so not much longer to wait. Since I now love adoptables sites I joined Squiby (Valenth too when I get back), originally because I’m getting sick of all the sucky art changes at the Pokemon adoptable site Virtuadopts. That artist and the sites admin both are idiots, and I hate them. But I ended up getting tons of other things too. A few Bleach, a Naruto one, a Lelouch, two Alucards, two L’s, Ayanami, Kero-chan, Sadako from Ringu (who’s already peeking out of her well), other Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Grell from Kuroshitsuji. I wish someone would make a Sebastian one too, and lot’s of other anime and manga ones.

My mom was once again supposed to call the doctor yesterday but didn’t. I finally broke down and told her to get chocolate since it’s been 3 weeks since I had any (and two weeks since my old blood test results were supposed to get there) and I’m still way over the daily sugar limit. But since it’s cold I’ve been wearing socks most of the time and haven’t seen my feet, and when I’ve had them off I’ve mostly just glanced at them because I don’t want to know. But I did see them yesterday after I talked to my mom and then I regretted telling her to get chocolate since they don’t look good. The red and purple is getting darker and spreading, and the spot on one toe that was really itchy (my toes/feet are always itchy) looked horrible. I almost called my mom back it looked so bad. It has various shades of dark purple spots mixed in dark purple coloring. If she comes today like she’s supposed to I’m going to make her take a look at them since she’s never seen it.

Still Here

No icon this time. I don’t feel like looking one up. My mom is taking her good old time. First she was supposed to get the flash drives Sunday and bring them day of. Then she said on Sunday that she was going to get them and would call after she did and bring them on Monday. She didn’t call again and didn’t call on Monday either. She finally called after 6 on Tuesday and said her work only had 2 GB and 4 GB flash drives, no 8, so she couldn’t get them. She said she was going to the store in a little bit to get the turkey she saved up points for (yeah, thanks for reminding me about stupid Thanksgiving) and would see if they had them there. Because everybody knows supermarkets have the United State’s leading entertainment and technology sections. Once again she said she’d call after, and never did.

I’m down three more pounds and 17 more to go. I barely eat anything since it’s so difficult and now I’m watching out for sugar. Yesterday I choked on my Cheerios and a dinner roll got stuck in my throat, so I didn’t eat anymore after that. My toes looked really bad yesterday, the worst they’ve looked so far, my knees aren’t improving, and my hands have started tingling again. My mom was supposed to call the doctor on Monday since it’s been over two weeks and they haven’t called here.

I’ve barely been sleeping. With my health, life situations, and now all this my stress has gone through the roof, I really cannot handle any more. I found out that the DVD player doesn’t work at all without the remote. It does go to the menu, but you can’t play if from there because you can’t select play. I then thought to hook up my portable DVD player to the TV, and even though it doesn’t play subtitles I thought it might through the TV. The first DVD I tried worked so I went and reordered my Netflix list again to put up all the anime I’d been watching. I was happy that at least I could continue to watch anime, and on the TV instead of the much smaller computer screen. When I went and tried to watch a different DVD it wouldn’t work, it kept playing the dub. So I had to go remove almost 30 volumes of anime from my list, and one of the DVDs has to be sent back without me even watching it. That really hurt.

Edit: And the stress keeps piling on, thanks to my mom. She called at around 5 today to say she was going to Best Buy and then to Shop n’ Save (which she was supposed to do yesterday). She didn’t get here until 7:10, and then said she was going to Best Buy tomorrow. So she must have taken her good old time getting to the store because by then all the good food was gone and all that was left was their crappy fried chicken. I guess it’s good that by that time I was sobbing so much I could barely taste it. She left a message with the school today saying that we got the shipping labels and was trying to get flash drives, and that’s why it was taking so long. All I could say was “Please tell me you didn’t actually say that.” She said yes, because she had to have an excuse. WTF. You aren’t supposed to use the computer for personal reasons, they don’t care if you have to get flash drives for stuff you’re not supposed to have on there in the first place. But she couldn’t get it through her thick skull that that was not an excuse, just a reason to piss them off even more. I don’t know why people don’t get it. My aunt says “well it’s not like vulgar things on there” (uh, define vulgar…) and my mom says “well it’s not like you were planning a bank heist on there” and they just don’t get that it doesn’t matter. You are not supposed to have anything on there. Then she said “What are they going to do, arrest me.” ???!!! Yes, remember that “we’ll put a warrant out for your arrest.” Ohhh, but flash drives are an excuse. So many people lack common sense. Then when I went into the kitchen to get my disgusting food I found someone (don’t know if it was her or the freak) threw food from the freezer into the garbage, and I got to put the garbage food back into the freezer. You can’t put things that rot into the garbage when there’s fruit flies. That just creates more breeding grounds for them, and since I’m the one that’s always here I’m the one that has to deal with it. The reason things got moved from the freezer was to put the turkey she got in there, which did nothing to improve my mood. She’s not going to make a turkey here, she’s not even going to be here. I’m going to be all alone for the holidays like always, so why do I have to see the freaking turkey! Keep it over there where it belongs. So that’s why by then I was crying again.
