| She Actually Called Me |

Filed under: General My idiot mother just called. I was going to call her because a letter came from storage saying she hasn’t paid yet. I didn’t want to call her because she’s 49 and is old enough to know how to pay her bills. But I know she probably put my SS card in there and I need that. She called me a few minutes later so… Then she started crying and saying she’s so depressed she wants to kill herself blah blah blah It was hard to understand her because she was sniffling. She hasn’t started looking for a job yet because she doesn’t know where she’s going to live. Blah blah blah things will get better she says. And then says she’s saying that for herself too. I know everything is about her. She’s staying at Cyndy’s while she’s in California. And I’m not getting internet until the end of the month or early October because Cyndy’s not coming back until the 23. Then idiot said she had to go because she was crying. Boo freaking hoo. Why call someone if you’re crying? She just wanted to share how depressed she is. She’s not going to get any sympathy from me. I was going to put this on Twitter. I didn’t want to make a blog post for this because I wanted my status post to stay first, but it was too long. So I pinned the status post to first. When I’m done with everything I’ll put them in the actual order. Since I had to make a whole post I might as well talk about something else. I started to watch some new shows. Ringer was last night, The Secret Circle tomorrow, then Revenge, and Pan Am. I’m just giving them a try. Ringer has exactly the kind of concept I hate, it’s super awkward, and I get… second hand embarrassment (or something?) from the characters and situations. Whenever I try to a new show I like to stick with it for at least a few episodes (I stuck through an entire series/season of Skins when I wasn’t sure about it!). I didn’t like Ev’s new song the first time they performed it. I thought it might be because it was live, so I decided to wait until the studio version came out. It took me a bit to get used to the “Do what you what you want” part, which is what I didn’t like about it, but I really like the song now. The video came out yesterday, which I have to say I don’t like, but I so rarely like music videos so that’s nothing out of the ordinary. What You Want is a good start, can’t wait to hear the rest of the album. I don’t have my icons uploaded yet, so no avatar for this post. I have to go back to fixing my fanlistings. I’m only on the b’s right now… Tags: family, life, mom, music, television |

Why? The most probable answer:
This is how much Nick cares about Avatar and its fans. I love Avatar, and I was really excited for the sequel, but Nickelodeon continues to disappoint. So if Avatar: TLOK is going to be called TLA instead I won’t be watching it, or supporting anything Airbender in any way. It would probably be for the best if real Avatar fans stay away from Korra. I don’t think there’s much hope for quality at this point, Nickelodeon will continue to interfere with the series until they destroy it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the characters in Korra refer to the previous Avatar as “Ung”, and call Korra the “of-atar”. * Seychelle Gabriel: Princess Yue in the live action movie. Update: So it is called The Last Airbender: LOK then. And there’s cars and motorcycles. Right. Tags: avatar, legend of korra, m night shyamalan, television, the last airbender |

I spoke to my mother the other day. She’s been having my rent the mini series Shogun for her from Netflix, and she wanted to know if a DVD had come. She told me great aunt Nita sent belated Christmas cards with $50 for each of us, and once again she took my money, and that she’ll “pay me back” but is only getting a $500 tax return back, and she needs that from rent. She said she’s also getting some from the state so she’ll give me my $50 from that. She started to say she thinks she owes me $20 more, and I had to correct her, $40. She now owes me $90. She took Nita’s Easter money, Nita’s birthday money, and now Nita’s Christmas money. $20, $20, $50. And she better stop BSing around, I need that money. My anti-virus expires in a couple months, and I cannot he without anti-virus protection. I finished the first season of Skins on Netflix, and am almost done with the second. I don’t know if I’ll continue after that, since the original cast isn’t in it. I still like Jal and Chris, Cassie has fallen on my like list, still hate Michelle, like Tony a lot more now, don’t like Anwar anymore, he’s been replaced by Maxxie. I had started to like Sid a little bit more, but he starts acting like an ass again and by the end of the episode “Effy” I hated him again. Michelle is still a selfish, bitchy slut. After Tony’s comeupance/redemption episode last season he’s been a lot more likable. I hated Anwar in the first season because of the way he treated Maxxie, and don’t like him now because he’s such a weak whore. What he did was just wrong. As for Sketch, I have a complicated relationship with her. She’s such a complete psycho, which is both good and bad. Her episode was so scary and disturbing. I still don’t have new headphones. I asked my mom if she had seen any of my old ones, and she found some and checked if they worked. She said they did, but when I got them up here and tried them they had the same problem they all do, only working in one ear. They’ve gotten even worse since then, and now stop working in both ears. Hopefully I’ll get new ones on Friday. I need anime, I need music, and I want to watch more Netflix instant. Roseanne and The Cosby Show are on there now. They need to add The Nanny next, I love that show. Since I’ve been headphoneless off and on, I’ve been reading a lot of manga. I got caught up with the Pandora Hearts manga a couple weeks ago, since I really liked the anime, and now I’m very impatiently waiting for the next chapter. Such a good series. I loved the Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge anime, but the manga is really dragging. It seems like nothing ever changes. I’ve also started the Shiki manga, am going to start Monochrome Factor, Mitsudomoe, and some others. Tags: life, manga, mom, steelers, television |

And yes, anime. Mitsudomoe is ending very soon! Luckily there will be a second season. I love Mitsudomoe! I didn’t expect to because the humor is pretty juvenile, and I don’t really like that sort of thing, but this show is freaking hilarious. Stupid, but hilarious. HOTD, also not my thing (say it Megan: highschool… highschool… high school) I’m not a big fanservice fan (unless it’s fanservice for the girls~), but it’s too much fun. That’s the reason I don’t usually like zombie stories, along with other apocalyptic tales. They’re so depressing. And not in a good way. HOTD (where I am anyway – 7/12) focuses more on the zombie ass kicking aspects of it. You’re too hyped up on adrenaline to care about things like mass hysteria and the world you once knew collapsing around you. You’re watching people beat the crap out of zombies! This makes it seem like a zombie apocalypse would be fun! Kuroshitsuji II ended up being surprisingly awesome. But there I was at episode 10, loving where the series was going, and then my little anime world was shattered. I found out it is only 12 episodes. Just when I was thinking “oh, A-1 Pictures, I’m so sorry for doubting you” it turned into “A-1 Pictures you freaking creeps how can you treat me like this?!!!” MAL hasn’t listed the episode count for the time it’s been playing, so I didn’t know what to expect. I expected more than 12 episodes though! I feel cheated. They made us wait a while as they kept pushing back the date, then screwed with us about the new demon butler and master, and they finally managed to do a good story (the last Kuroshitsuji anime, which also deviated from the manga, was pure crap) and they only do 12 episodes. Though episode 11 and ultimately the final one could be bad, but TastyMelon hasn’t released 11 yet. Shiki also turned out to be surprisingly awesome. I didn’t love the first episode (I rarely do) and the animation put me off a little, but it’s turning out so good. Sick of sparkly, “romantic” vampires and vampire knights? This is the anime for you. This is how you do vampires. And damn that Murasako Masao is one strange looking troll. When I watch the next episode I will torment myself again and watch it at night – just for the kicks. I didn’t learn my lesson with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, or even the last time I watched Shiki. I just started watching it sometime after midnight and the thought occurred to me a couple hours later “maybe I shouldn’t be watching this at night?” and then “I really shouldn’t be watching this at night!” Did I stop? Of course not! As for the other airing shows that I am watching, it’s mostly just to torment myself. Seitokai Yakuindomo, I hate, Amagami SS, I hate slightly less, Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin just gets an “eh” from me, The Redundant Title of Redundancy and Nurarihyon no Mago… I’m dealing with it. And as for Ookami-san, I still haven’t gotten past the first episode. Unfortunately for me all the anime that I’m enjoying is either ending or possibly going on hiatus (we don’t know yet how the Shiki hiatus on one channel will affect our watching). And with the new season seeming pretty blah this is not good news for me. I do at least have one currently airing television show here to look forward to and that is Destination Truth, with the hot geek Josh Gates. The new season started yesterday. I don’t have cable right now, but Syfy and Hulu both have the previous episodes available on their websites for a short time. The first Destination Truth episode of the season featured Josh and his team went to Pompeii to search for ghosts, and to Africa to search for a beast called the Nandi Bear. Destination Truth is an awesome cryptozoology/paranormal show that airs on Syfy channel. They go to places and investigate things that no one else does (they’ve even been to Chernobyl), and they found some pretty compelling Yeti proof that’s still being investigated by labs today. Plus, Josh is very cute and charismatic. So if you’re into monster hunting and cute geeks definitely check it out. In less than 12 hours I’m going to get blood work. Not looking forward to it exactly, but I’m glad it’s finally getting done. After this I’ll have to go to the doctor and get the papers to have an MRI and CT Scan. My mom called on Sunday and asked if I wanted to go to Eat n Park on Monday using the rest of the gift card she had. I could tell she was drunk (as always), and didn’t think she’d actually end up doing it, but I agreed. Monday came and of course she called and said she couldn’t go. The landlord said he might come fix the water and she had to be there for it. Ridiculous. If she doesn’t want to follow through with something, why ask? Not only could the landlord let himself in, but that bum she’s living with doesn’t work. Let him make himself useful. There was no reason for her to stay. So Cynthia took me out today to McDonalds. I thought she would. She usually does after my mom changes her mind. I was hoping to get up to CVS and see if they had Neocash cards, but that’ll have to wait until Cynthia takes me again. My mom said she’s been working a lot recently, and once she starts getting money I can have my disability for myself. BS! It runs out in November, and she’s only working part time! If, by some miracle, I do get it before then I’d like to get a camera. I toyed with the idea of getting one with my b-day money, but I only got $125 (counting the $25 my mom took). I looked on Ebay and found some cheap ones, but it’s too risky, and not the buying on Ebay part. I did have a really cheap digital camera before and it was crap. It barely worked and the pictures it took were horrible quality. Then earlier this year I found that the batteries had basically disintegrated inside it and I had to throw it away. So I can’t risk spending up to $125 of the only money I have only something that could turn out to be worthless. I could get a decent one for $200 though, so I’m hoping my mom will come through this once so I can get one. I’ve wanted one for years, I’m really interested in photography as a hobby. I thought See the Monkey Dance was the best Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode I’d ever seen… then I saw An Unlocked Window. Scared the crap out of me. I haven’t seen any anime recently. My headphones broke again, there’s only sound coming out of one ear unless you hold the cord the right way, so I can’t watch anything until I get new ones. This did give me a chance to catch up with the scanlations of Skip Beat! and I found out that two more chapters of Gunslinger Girl were scanlated. I hadn’t read anything “new” from it in about a year, since no one’s really scanlating it. Now if someone could just get out a couple chapters of Junjou Romantica… at least Okane ga Nai is pretty regular right now. Since I’m on a forced break from anime right now I’m going to take this opportunity to get through some more manga. I have a ton of BL on here, and there’s some other manga I want to get ahead in. Since I’m animeless I’ve had to find other things to amuse myself with. One of those things is Neopets, and the other is VDex Project. I dressed up and entered two of my pets in the Style Showdown. The first one didn’t get in, like I knew it wouldn’t, and I’m sure the second one won’t either, but I love customizing on Neopets so this was a lot of fun for me. You can see my two entries after the jump. I love VDex Project. It’s the best adoptables site out there in my opinion. Here’s me and my party looking awesome. ![]() I’ve caught 262 Pokemon, with 224 Pokedex entries. I am this close to getting the Marsh badge. VDex is so much more fun and involving than GPXPlus, which I’ve grown bored with. VDex requires a higher level of dedication and interaction, because it’s freaking hard to catch these Pokemon, and you have to actually go get them, not just sit around the lab and shelter waiting. There needs to be more adoptables sites like this one. In the fanlistings department I have several upcoming, and two recently finished. Code Geass: Charles and Lelouch relationship fanlisting and the fl for British comedy My Family are online. A word of caution for anyone trying to view, the last one won’t display right in all resolutions, I am still working on that little bugger. On TFL I got a most awesome approval, English actress Natalie Dormer, best known for playing Anne Boleyn on Showtime’s The Tudors (which she was awesome in). The fanlisting has been designed and I just have to code it and get it online. At TAFL my upcomings are series Ghost Hound and Mitsudomoe the angela song and Seitokai Yakuindomo ED Aoi Haru (the best thing about that stupid series), and the Mitsudomoe character Marui Hitoha. |

Cynthia went out with Naomi like she usually does on Fridays, and when she got back she took me down to McDonalds. We have to pass where my mom lives (and where I used to live up until a few weeks ago) and she and the white trash bastard were outside smoking. I was watching where I was walking, so I didn’t notice she was there until Cynthia said “don’t look.” My mother asked where we were going, and I looked at Cynthia because she didn’t respond or even turn her head, just kept on walking. Then my mom said in her whiny voice “You aren’t going to talk to me? Fine.” I told Cynthia she was angry because of that, and I was the one who’d get yelled at. Cynthia said she refused to talk to her while he was there, and she doesn’t owe her anything, and that my mom couldn’t be mad at me because I have no control over what Cynthia does. My mom won’t care about that. She throws tantrums like a 5 year-old, and the next time she calls I’m going to be the one who gets to listen to it. I wouldn’t be surprised if she threatened not to make my birthday cake (which she’s been saying she’s going to make since the 22nd). Cynthia says my mom is lucky I talk to her at all. And she should have known better. My mother knows I hate him, and Cynthia’s furious that my mom let him know where she lives, and now he knows what she looks like too. He keeps asking to meet her, and Cynthia says she has nothing to do with him, and he’s not getting in her house. I told her not to worry, if he tries to get in I’ll be ready to play whack-a-ass with the bowling pin. My mother now owes me $40. The $20 she took in late spring (without asking), and she took the $20 Nita gave me for my birthday. She called yesterday to say Nita’s card came, and asked if she could borrow $20 from whatever she sent (it was $25), and that I could come down and witness it if I wanted. I’m not walking down the hill just to watch her open a card, then walk back up again in 90 degree weather. So I told her to just open it. She said she could have just taken the money, but thought she should ask first. It wouldn’t be the first time she took my money without asking. Choosing my icon reminded me – I finally got my Schneizel voice doll to speak! I thought it needed batteries, so I opened the bottom to see what kind (I told my mom it was the little round kind, but she still didn’t know what they were) and there were batteries in it, they just weren’t in right. I fixed them, and now every time I press the button Schneizel says “I think it’s wonderful.” I think it’s wonderful too, Schneizel! Well, another episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents starts in a few minutes. I better get downstairs. Edit: The AHH episode was Lonely Place. It’s so disturbing. Tags: online, television, websites |

In anime I’m watching Durarara!!, Bleach (stay away from my Bleach you Hollywood creeps!), Hidamari Sketch, K-ON, Hanasakeru Seishounen, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Kanon, Kimikiss Pure Rouge, Gakuen Heaven, Air, Hunter x Hunter. I’m watching quite a few others, but these I’m watching somewhat regularly, and the others I’m just doing episodes whenever I feel like it. I still have at least 20 other series on here to start. I’m love my Bleach, Durarara (Isaac and Miria, you too?!) is my precious, Hanasakeru is okay, but I don’t like Rumaty/Lumati and hate all the crap about his country. I like Li Ren and Eugene. When the Cicadas Cry was better in the first scenario and has gone downhill from there. Hidamari Sketch is surprisingly likable. I’m not a big slice of life fan, Aria and especially Azumanga drive me crazy, but Hidamari Sketch is much better and easier to take. I have a lot more on here, so I’ve got to get moving. 748 more episodes to watch… I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars often but I know the judges are jerks. That said, their score for Niecy Nash was very unfair. After that show I switched to Nick like I usually do at night, and I saw a new promo for the KCA with Nicola Peltz and Jackson Rathbone, where the Katara LA actress will try to “slimebend.” She was cute, but once again Sokka was called Soh-ka. Yesterday it was one year since all my health crap started. Right now I haven’t had much side pain recently for a few months now, little eye pain, no shooting pain, and some mild numbness. But my headaches, which I started getting really bad a few months after March 22nd, and the pains in my head are continuing. I’m surprised nothing has happened this spring yet, and hopefully it won’t knock on wood. It’s been one year since my health problems started, and two years since my grandfather and aunts house burned down (I always think Nanny’s house, but my grandmother died several years ago, so…) I don’t remember what happened the spring before that, but it’s possible the bowlegged freak was there and that was hell. Of course bad things happen all year round, but spring is a particularly bad time. Hopefully the streak will break and some good luck will start coming our way. I don’t know whether to drag the computer into the bedroom, or wait and see if Bleach and Kobato are released… Edit: Bleach came out, I’ll wait a little longer for Kobato and then I’m going back to watch more anime. Edit 2: Got Kobato, getting off. Tags: anime, Health, mom, outing, restaurant, television, the last airbender |

I missed last weeks Melrose Place, Modern Family, Cougar Town, the past two Mythbusters, and the last Destination Truth. I’m probably dropping Modern Family since I do not think it is as good as everyone says. But I still like Melrose and Cougar Town, and Destination Truth has been really good recently. In anime I’ve made it more than halfway through Cardcaptor Sakura, and am up to 70 on Bleach. A few more episodes and it’ll be my longest series. The current is Monster at 74 episodes, and then Blood+ at 50. I finished my beloved Toradora early this month, and that God awful Romeo x Juliet (Tybalt, Francisco, and Curio <3 though). The new anime season started around that time so I’ve got even more on my plate now. Some I’m really wishing I hadn’t started like Book of Bantorra, Tegami Bachi (sorry Fukuyama Jun!), and Seitokai no Ichizon. Also regretting Miracle Train a little bit, but I knew what I was getting myself into there so it’s my own damn fault. I’m liking Kobato. and Nyan Koi, Kimi ni Todoke is okay, but Darker than BLACK 2 is really going down in points since they’re killing off all the original characters. It’s just Hei (looking really ugly) and a little bit of Kirihara until they kill her off, then we’ll be left with Hei x stupid Russian Mary Sue loli, and all the new people. The other anime that I’m liking… well Bleach and Cardcaptor. I’ve really grown attached to them, it surprised me how much I started liking Bleach. It really is just a likable anime with lots of likable characters. Rented Memories of Nobody through Netflix, it was fun. I like Honey and Clover, but not as much right now as I did when I first started it (same with Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, though that’s “don’t like very much at all right now), and Prince of Tennis, Trigun. Fate/stay Night is okay, it’s the next most liked. Shangri-la is eh, but I can’t move forward in it because I’m having trouble finding the episodes. The only thing I like about Beck right now is the opening theme. Saki… omg, I’m pretty sure I said this before about this anime, but Mahjong is so boring! And since I’m not yuri inclined or a guy, no amount of big breasted, short skirted lolis can make it interesting for me. Maybe if it was a Mahjong death match then it’d be interesting (or some hot open shirted guys with some bishies thrown in for good measure, either way). The first Gundam and Evangelion… so not a mecha fan. 07-Ghost can be okay sometimes. At least Ayanami is hot, and sort of looks like Schneizel, so that distracts me enough to forget the show isn’t that great, and keeps me coming back. Unfortunately that was the same problem I had with Romeo x Juliet. Damn you hot anime guys! I really, really want to continue with my manga. No new scanlations of Gunslinger Girl or Junjou Romantica have come out yet (I hate you scanlators) but there’s lot’s of others I want to get on with, and some I want to start. I might just give up trying to wait for a different computer and start again anyway. Hmm, health wise there haven’t been any major developments except my toes have started aching most of the time, and I’ve had trouble walking after getting out of bed. It’s not like it’s numb really, but like it has no strength in it at all. And lastly, aren’t my dragons cute? The last two might be dead soon since they’re not growing up fast enough. It’s going to take my other eggs a while to hatch, and my Pokemon egg who knows how long to hatch, since they have to be feed/clicked/page viewed/walked and it takes a lot of it. I don’t know what the Pokemon will be, but I know what the other eggs will be here, here, here, and here. Aren’t they cute? The first one sort of looks like a panda. I’d also like a Mo, |
